So thank you all for your poll taking! My id ran off with Richard Armitage this morning as it is wont to do. I looked in my season 1 folder of Strike Back and found only three episodes! Technically there were six, but they were in pairs all stuck together! So anyone can watch three episodes in a weekend, right? Right! So I might as well watch that before I go onto series 2 which is actually season 1 in the US that just started airing last week and is kind of a reboot of the series from what I am told and really has nothing to do with season 1. And this is Vividcon related because Destina showed me a pretty Strike Back picture and said, "Doesn't this look like our kind of show?" And it DID.

And five minutes into British season 1, I knew it was my kind of show. TOTALLY. YOU WILL NEVER GUESS WHAT HAPPENED. It actually reminded me a lot of Spooks and then I felt guilty for not blowing through my Spooks episodes, but one can not really blow through Spooks episodes without explodey brain and who wants that? (well, sweetestdrain, dualbunny and greensilver want explodey brains, but they are not here.)

And then once that is all caught up, on to Kings and Deadwood! Yes. The masses have spoken. And Kings and Deadwood have fixed endpoints and are not bogged down in 22 episode seasons. I have decided that comedies should have 20+ episodes. All drama series (especially if they are serialized in nature) should be 10-13 episodes long. The exception to the rule is family based shows that have holidays in them as they must come out fixed around the seasons, and sticking a Thanksgiving episode into a 13 episode run is very hard.

Off to call a webservice. I hope it answers. It's not even spelled right! Is there a polite way to say, "Hey other client of our mutual big-ass customer, did you really want to transpose those letters?" Cause it's bugging the shit out of me and my soon to exist code.
