the stunt displays were fucking awesome, ive seen all kinds of balancing acts, summersaults, donuts, burn outs etc and fireforce one (the jet car) nearly takes your face off when it goes by and is loud as hell but the best bit of all that was when i got to meet the one and only Eddie Kidd!
bands
i shall sum it up as
good: skindred, breed 77, pitchshifter, chaz and dave
ok: hells bells, the almighty, engerica, paradise lost
bad: hundred reasons
fucking shockingly awful: dogs d'amour
late night entertainment
there is something not very nice about seeing an oldish guy staple his tackle to a board of wood, yuck! he also nailed his arms into pieces of wood and carried them around, then angle grinded them off - nice!
also i was pretty gobsmacked when i walked in on the end of the wet t-shirt competition( didnt see any t-shirts or water funnily enough) to see one of rocksocs siblings nearly naked on stage!
and the hells angels are a bunch of softies :-)
