I was very happy to see a Quiznos sub shop opening in Union center. "Great, someplace I can get a good lunch at" I thought. It opened a few days ago and today was the first time I got around to eating there. Last time as well. Here is the problems I had with them. I ordered a small angus something. They put up a nice glass wall so you can watch the person make your sandwich. The girl gets the meat and puts a nice size amount on a scale. Then starts taking some meat off. Does this a few times till there is only a little meat left them starts to make my sandwich. I hate the fact that she was taking away my meat. It's just a mental thing, I know that but, in my mind, thats what she was doing. So they make the sub and I go to pay. $5.29 for this small sandwich. Crazy! Now I'm gonna tell you about the sub natzi. (A refrence from the soup natzi on seinfeld) There is a sub store in Union so good it shuld be a crime to eat anywhere else. Mr Sub has been in the same place for about 35 years. Don't show up before 11. Even if they are sitting there they will not open early. Never. I know, I tryed. Do not order something without the proper number, I've been yelled at for that as well. Here is what you shuld expect. A fantastic well made sub with plenty of meat and what ever you want on it. For about $4.00. It's a little out of my way but I think from now on I will take the few moments out of my day and get what I want the way I like it. I had subs here when I was in Jr High and will eat there till the end of time hopefully.
