(no subject)
It looks like my last two posts have been in month-and-a-half intervals. But that's more than I can say for the lot of you! >:0 Not really sure how many people still follow livejournal, so I suppose this will be more for myself than any of you.
So, big news comes first. I'm moving to New York in mid-August. Brooklyn in particular. Right now I'm trying to get my transcripts sent to Borough of Manhattan Community College for a brief semester taking whatever creative English classes I can get into. They have a science fiction class I'm really interested in, but it's probably pretty popular (too many p's here). I'm selling my car in a few weeks and hoping to get over $3,000 to pay for my plane ticket, shipping my stuff over, furniture, rent, and whatever else. Maybe ATP tickets if I play my cards right ;) Then in spring I'll start attending Hunter College and complete my BA in English or Creative Writing in a year.
I guess there isn't much other news at all. I'm really low on funds because I went to Tijuana with Jessica a few days before the 4th. We wanted to light off fireworks in Rosarito, but we arrived too late. We still had a good time though! We got really lost like 5 minutes after crossing the border on foot and had to end up running across multi-lane freeways. Hahaha
I'm seeing Ice Age 3 in an hour...
