This has been a heated debated between myself and other co-workers, myself and customers, and myself and my room mate (who also works for starbucks).
Many regular* customers come in and ask for a "tall latte in a venti cup with extra milk"
which is a single venti latte, correct? other customers order a grande extra foamy latte in a venti cup, which is a Venti foamy latte/cappuccino, correct? or so says the BRM.
ANYWAY
My co workers argue that they charge the cheaper way for the customer because of JSY, But I feel that if its in the BRM, and you tell them that its not the correct way, then that gets us out of JSY? I know its only a matter of 50 cents, but customers just get away with so much. How do you charge for this at your location? am I just an ass hole?
*regular meaning they frequent many starbucks, and go to my location once or twice a month
