A single page from Gotham Knights #48. The Bat-crew are flying somewhere to find Bane (something about Bane's real daddy), and Batman decides to let Batgirl drive.
A few thoughts:
--Zomg, did Batman just compliment Cass on something besides beating up bad guys? [/kicks the dead horse]
--Cass, sweetie, it's probably a good idea to have your eyes open when you're flying a supersonic aircraft.
--"Fear clears the mind." No, Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little death that-- Gah! Brain, stop with the Dune crap!
--Hey Bruce, not that I'm not happy that you're teaching Cass stuff, but wouldn't teaching her how to read and write be a little more useful that flying an aircraft? [/kicks the dead horse again]
Also, my brain is drawing some weird comparisons between Bruce and Hal Jordan. I keep imagining Bruce telling Cass "You've never flown with me before," which is apparently Hal-speak for "Take off your pants." Bruce/Cass is usually classified under "wrongity-wrong" in my mind, but I can't help thinking them and flight!sex would be totally hot. *is ashamed*
