(no subject)
i got up at 8 this morning to go help out with the band. Dave, Jason, Charlie and I decided it would be a good idea to etch marks on the main tunning slides of all of the brass horns. the younger players hopfuly will use these as a guide to know where to know where the horn plays intune. Had some fun times with the three of them reminicing about past years and such. Its nice to get an insight from charlie on what marching corps is like. The general consensus is that i should work my ASS off and make baritone instead of euphonium because it "messes you up" says Dave. Went to lunch with them at in n out, which i hadnt had for a while, then took charlie out to his math class at ucsb, then took my brother downtown and then i went back to finish a few more horns and just listen to the ensemble. They sound much better than about a month ago when i went to one of their sectionals. and now im exhausted! Tonight im going to see dp's marching band field show. now you may ask your self, why is jacob going to dp's show? and the answer is BECAUSE THEY'RE DOING LES MIS!!!! i know not to expect much but colby is teaching drill and i told him i would go. thats enough for now :P
