Hurry up, Mr. B!
Work didn't waste time in getting busy again. There's speech contests two weeks after school starts, so I've had to stay late a lot helping the kids prepare. I've also pretty much been coming home and falling asleep a lot of evenings. Not sure if it's because I'm lazy or sick. With the mountain of tissues in my garbage can over the last week or so, I'm learning towards the latter.
I've managed to get my laptop working well enough to play Bioshock. It is sort of a dumbed down version of System Shock 2, but that doesn't stop it from being a good game in its own right. If I had any kind of crafty skills, and access to a 1920s gas pump handle, I'd totally make a Little Sister costume for Halloween.

For nowhack:
TOP 5 HEROES SCENES
1. Nathan and Peter on the hospital roof back in the second or third episode of season 1. I love power-discovery moments, and that was one of the more memorable ones for me.
2. Mohinder pwning Sylar with the map board. (Remember back when the writers gave a damn about Mohinder, and actually let him DO STUFF? WITHOUT pointless superpowers and lame plot arcs that make his character go nowhere?)
3. Sylar's gotten his share of good moments, but I'm going to be weird and go with the alternate!future scenes between he and little!Noah and Peter in "I Am Become Death". The handful of scenes in that one episode was more interesting to me than the rest of volume 3 put together.
4. As much as I wish Daphne hadn't died, she did get a good send-off. If a character death can actually make me cry - especially on a show that likes to kill off characters as stupidly regularly as Heroes - it deserves some kudos.
5. Company Man is trying to make it onto the list, so I'll compromise with the "MY NAME IS SYLAR!" scene back in season 1. HRG and Sylar at their best.

1. The Doctor would make a good date, just to have the entirety of space/time at your disposal. Date, adventure...whatever.
2. Age up Dib from Invader Zim 10 or 15 years, and we'll go Bigfoot-hunting together or something.
3. I'd go on a girl-date with Gerte from Runaways, for the snark and the dinosaur.
4. I'd consider George from Being Human, but that kind of thing didn't work out so well in the show. Still, nice guys are hard to come by.
5. RILAKKUMA, LULZ. (I can't think of a fifth one. It took me two weeks to even think of four. WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM ME?)
