Travel

After all the stress and frustrations from last month, it looks like most of my travel plans are falling into place. Golden Week isn't far off (a week with like, three our four national holidays in a row), and I made some last-minute plans for a solo trip to Hiroshima, with some brief stops in Sendai and Tokyo. Hiroshima is one of the places in Japan that I've really wanted to visit, and this seems like as good a time as any to do it. One day to see the Peace Memorial Park and probably cry a lot, and one day visiting Miyajima to see the shrine and do some hiking. Hopefully I won't get eaten by deer and monkeys.

Summer plans seem to be working out so far too. I have my plane tickets bought. My Comic Con passes are reserved. sabella_a is the bestest person ever, and came to the rescue to help me find a better hotel that's much closer to the convention centre. There's still stuff to be done before July rolls around, but having the hotel and plane tickets sorted out is a huge load off my mind.

I wish Comic Con would put out an events schedule some time soon, but so far it looks like there's an awsome line-up as far as the actual COMIC part goes. The guests include the guy who does the cover art for Fables, the guy who's behind the Flight anthologies, and the guy who did the Scott Pilgrim series, and Charles Vess. That's a damn fine start.
