I try not to harp too much on gender issues, but SERIOUSLY. Five people in Peter's little pow-wow at the end, and not one chick to be seen? Whatever, show. INORITE?! I was thinking the exact same thing. This is one of the many reasons why I want Molly and Monica to show up again. The uneven ration between men and women on this show is still one of the issues that really bothers me, but I'll wait and see what happens, because I'm 100% positive that Daphne isn't dead. And ITA with what you said about wanting Brea to become a regular!
Though unlike Maya and Alejandro, Sylar's not actually hiding much of anything from Luke, and the kid's ready and willing to follow him around without any tricks. Yes, that's what I like about it! Even though the whole idea of Sylar going on yet another road trip initially bugged me, I like how the events in Volume 3 - as lame as they were - led to Sylar acting the way he is now. "I let you survive - kinda a big deal for me", (not verbatim) was both hilarious and very telling. I'll have to re-watch the ep or wait and see how Luke turns out, but I didn't really get the sense that Luke is, or can be, as dangerous as Sylar yet. He just seems like another moody teenager who's getting in over his head in the worst way possible, but I guess that's the point of his character. I also think it'll be interesting to see him and Sylar bond, and it would be a twist if Sylar doesn't end up killing him.
Have Mohinder and Hiro ever had a scene together? It feels like they haven't. Yeah, they did in Five Years Gone, and I was a little disappointed that Hiro wasn't all flaily and telling Mohinder that he was saved by Future!Mo... However, that could have been because of Mohinder's beard and glasses, plus Hiro hasn't said anything to Matt about his future self being a jerk.
Between his conversation with Peter in the last episode and his "this isn't your fight, stay out of it!" stuff to Hiro in this episode, I'm still trying to figure out where his head is these days I'll admit it, I miss the Momologues. I was kind of sad to see him reacting the way he did in the past few episodes to what was going on, but I buy him becoming more jaded, especially since Volume 3 events. He definitely seems to be a lot more practical now than idealistic, but I... I also really want to see him to go India with Hiro so that he can meet up with Molly again and then we can get back some of that lighter, softer side that I know is still in him. In reference to your comment about his shirt, though: I personally don't like it. I'm sorry, it's just so distracting! Even more distracting than Sylar's ugly hair style. I hope Mohinder doesn't have to wear that shirt for another couple of episodes...
Was it just me, or did this episode involve a lot of running around without getting anywhere? Yep, I got that feeling too. I think that we're going to settle down in the upcoming episodes though, because now that the lines are drawn, Claire's back in Cali, and the guys (grrr) have teamed up, I think that we're going to get into a more organized sense of disarray. Which makes no sense, but I think you know what I mean. I need to get more sleep.
I LOL'ed at your capslock!convo between Mohinder and Matt. It had to have happened at some point, because even though Mohinder was turning into a bug, I'd like to think that Matt was aware enough to check in on Mohinder and ask if he could still stay at the apartment. Otherwise I'd fanwank that Mohinder started a new "lease" with the landlord under his and Matt's name pre-4 Months Later, but I don't even know if that's possible. Oh well, I still prefer what you said.
Part of me hopes the next apocalypse that wanders along is a Y: The Last Man-style gendercide. At least then the gals might get a decent fucking storyline. OMG how awesome would that be?! VERY. I'd be sad to see Mohinder go, though :( Maybe he could turn out to be the Yorick of the series?... Nah, Peter's more like him :P
LOLOLOL @ the picture! Did you do that?! I LOVE IT! *Saves*

YES. I mean, I'd even love for Audrey to come back, or characters like Sandra to get bigger roles (like she had last volume), or...SOMETHING. It's just really, really irking me that they HAVE all these interesting and/or strong female characters around, but they just...don't use them. Or write them off, and end up making the heroics a No Girls Allowed club. I'd like to think it's not intentional, but it's still depressing. :/
I also think it'll be interesting to see him and Sylar bond, and it would be a twist if Sylar doesn't end up killing him.
I'm already expecting Luke to die within a few episodes (the odds sure as hell aren't in his favour), but...yeah, if it's done in a believable way, I think it'd be really interesting if he and Sylar had a bit of messed-up and hilarious bonding going on. The kid's definitely in over his head, and he'll probably realise that soon enough, but I'm really curious how Sylar will react to being treated like a role model. Especially since he seems to be projecting on Luke so much.
Yeah, they did in Five Years Gone,
Oh, right! I forgot about the alternate futures. Whoops. XD This is the first time for Hiro to meet present!Mohinder, though. Close enough.
I also really want to see him to go India with Hiro so that he can meet up with Molly again and then we can get back some of that lighter, softer side that I know is still in him.
I want this to happen so badly. Molly's had enough people abandoning her, and Mohinder's had enough angst lately. GO TAKE CARE OF YOUR GIRL, MOHINDER. You can sit this volume out if you want, and chill in India for a while. You'd be missed, but it would be good for you.
Maybe he could turn out to be the Yorick of the series?... Nah, Peter's more like him :P
Peter would have to be Yorick, I think. He's the most like him. And Mr. Muggles would fill in for Ampersand, maybe. IT COULD TOTALLY WORK.
LOLOLOL @ the picture! Did you do that?!
Yes! XD Last night, just before I made the post. I LOLed too hard during that scene NOT to do it. As if the fugitives didn't have enough problems without adding Nazguls. Mohinder DOES have a suspiciously significant ring...
