I taught my adult conversation class this evening. We ended up talking about bugs for some reason. One of the ladies asked me if I'd seen the big caterpillars that crawl across the road a lot. I have - a LOT of them - so I asked her why they seem to crawl around on the streets so much. She thought about it for a minute. Then she laughed, and said, "They like travelling."
THEY LIKE TRAVELLING. I love it. XD Maybe it's one of those Japanese idioms that sounds funny when it's turned into literal English. But it gave me this hilarious mental image of caterpillars hitchhiking on the roadside with wee little backpacks and wee little cardboard signs that say "ANYWHERE".
I got your CARD O' BEES in the mail,
goodbyebartleby. I LOLED. (And kind of want
this shirt to go with it.) I'll have to repay you in tentacle pr0n the next time I go to Tokyo.
