So a vampire, a werewolf, and a ghost rent a flat...
bangles linked this, and I'm passing it on: Being Human. It's the pilot for a BBC drama about a vampire, a werewolf, and a ghost. Who share a flat. There's a nice mix of SRS DRAMAZ and cute humour, but I mostly loved how nifty the three main characters were. Nice interaction between them all. Even if you're like me and don't care for vampire angst, the werewolf and ghost stuff is engaging enough to make up for it. The Wikipedia page claims that there's a six-episode series in the works for 2009. If it's as quirky as the pilot and keeps the focus on the main characters (and balances them evenly rather than turning the plot over to the silly vampire mafia), I'll definitely have to watch it.
I managed to find a copy of both the Silent Hill Play Novel and the Silent Hill: Lost Memories DVD this weekend. There's nothing on the DVD that I haven't seen floating around the internet already, sadly. It's basically the soundtracks to the first three games, a collection of production images and monster design art, trailers, and the Usagi and Fukuro videos for a little added WTFery. Still, cool to have.
