You know what would be nice?
If the collectivist wing bulk of the Republican party and their spokeshole machinery would hew to their "respect" for federalism and let California sort out the prop 8 aftermath without too much bleating.
That would be nice.
I'm sure we're going to hear all about the importance of federalism in the next few years. Maybe it'd be good to get both feet on that track now so that they don't end up in your mouth, later.
