It'd be kind of weird if they went from hate to love so fast, especially 'cause I think the break between ep 13 and 14 won't be too huge in-universe. But Rachel giving up the solo spot to Mercedes in Sectionals (and then not pushing for it when the juvie girls stole the song) went a long way with Mercedes. And since she and Kurt are joined at the hip, I'm sure Kurt took note as well. I think there'll be an improvement at least. :|a
