lol after not having any co-op news for 3 months I just had 2 phone interviews within 40 minutes

The first one is Icon Nicholson in New York City. I seriously could only hear about 40% of what they were saying because they were on a conference phone or something. But anyhow they are a lot like my first co-op,, they do web development for some ( Read more... )

There are lots of sweet places that you can eat for cheap(er) in NYC, so don't worry about that. Try and post fliers around DAAP or something to find a roommate, or check the roommate listings on craigslist. Manhattan will be more expensive than the other 4 boroughs. Check out Brooklyn. You can find some sweet places, and as long as you stay close to the train, it's not a huge commute. People are going to tell you that you can't find a one-bedroom for anything less than $1500 in Manhattan, and that's a bunch of bull. Don't restrict yourself to areas just around where you'd be working either! The upper sides closer to the park will be expensive, but above about 110th or so would be more affordable for the most part. People will tell you it's not safe, but it's way safer than Clifton (most places), so I wouldn't be concerned.

I love New York! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!

Let's see, April-June 2006... am I doing anything during that time that I need to be in Cincinnati for? Nah. The only thing I can think of is getting married, but I'm sure that won't make a difference. ;-)
