and relay has begun...
Well I'm off to camp for the first time this summer. THis particular one, I"ve never been there before, probably don't know anyone (except MAYBE 1 person), and its co-ed...enter the anxious hamster in my brain spinning on his little wheel. I'm sure its going to be great, and it is an "assembly"camp so one that is primarily made up of people from my denomination (which are Brethren, not Assembly of God btw) so I won't have to worry about that at least, but I'm still nervous. SUper excited, cause its camp but nervous. Also the way this camp breaks down their weeks is by living accomidations (inner city, metro, suburban) and this is for inner city, which also has me slightly on edge, although I'm figuring that by sticking to me "out-crazy the campers before they can out-crazy me" philosophy, I should be ok, and I've been subbing in an inner city district the fast few years. But overall, definitely out of my comfort zone.
So yea, here goes nothing...which could last a week, or 2 weeks (depending on logistics and thesis) or 3 weeks with the last one at another camp, 4 hours away, in another state, which I am used to going to.
