A good night
Last night I got to see Fantastic Mr. Fox with a friend who won free passes on the radio. :)
Movie was good, some very funny lines and very matter of fact in the way that Roald Dahl stories are. Harsh things are said and done. Characters have to face hard truths about themselves and those they love. The story is clever and warm and just a tiny bit warped.
The animation was fairly good. The hardest part being a flicker effect between frames that was distracting at first.
I haven't had the pleasure of reading this one, but now, I feel I must.
Dinner at Old Spaghetti Factory was quite nice (Also Free due to a gift card my friend received on an earlier visit.)
It was a nice time, I am glad she asked me along.
