I'm visiting Ramapo right now - orientation session and all. I picked up my dorm assignment and went to see it and, as Josh would say, I will be living in a corrugated cardboard box. I mean, it's nice because it's an apartment style dorm, but it has this unkempt, lifeless feel to it. So that might not be the greatest thing. But, other than that, the campus is nice and a visit to the art department got me pretty excited about starting my new major so I think I have good reason to believe that the next two years will be a good time. And if not... New York is just a bus ride away.
I've been having so much fun in NYC lately. I've been spending time with a lot of people from Magnolia outside of work and those have been some amazing times. Despite my unwillingness to take part in the various activities our meetings have revolved around, I still have a lot of fun. These people make me never want to leave NYC though. I'm so sad that the summer is almost over and I'll have to leave all of this wonderfulness behind.
That's all for now. When I get to Ramapo for the school year my posts should become a little more frequent. As for the rest of the summer, I've still got a lot more of this city to explore and enjoy. Bye!
