That's our local Humane Society. I've been looking at all the cats online just about every day. Of the ones listed, I'd really like to adopt one of the following:
*Bandit
*Benjamin (Unless he's there in 7 months, when he'll be a year old, he's a no go. Adopting a kitty UNDER 1 year is like an extra $150 or so to my apartment! SHEESH!)
*Cinnamon
*Lena
*Mandy (Al doesn't want a long-haired cat. I think adoption fee includes a spay, so maybe?! Too bad if Al doesn't want a long-haired cat... it's not like he's home enough to pay attention to the cat anyway)
*Manny (he has nothing done to him, though :()
*Milkshake
*Oreo (he's not declawed, though)
*Sox (he's not declawed, though. He is up to date on shots, though!!)
*Tabitha
Actually, I'd like to adopt them all. lol But, if I'm going to follow the rules of the complex, the cat has to be declawed, spayed, and up to date on shots. I was going to ask the complex about SoftPaws (kind of like plastic caps that go on the cat's nails), but I highly doubt they'd let me do that. Al did mention that the office said that only the fronts had to be declawed, though.
So, here's to saving up and getting a cat!! (Thanks, Jeff, for your small donation! You rock! :))
