I just bought my books for my first SEMESTER of the nursing program. $583 later, and I still don't have my nursing uniforms (they recommend 2, of course), name pins, stethoscope, OR any of the other hospital related things I need. All I can say is that financial aid is WONDERFUL. Too bad shortly after I graduate, I have to start paying back the loans I got while at SCC AND the loans from Rio. Oh well, in total, it shouldn't be more than 10k, which is a lot better than most college kids do. 10k for 2 degrees isn't too bad at all.
