For sale: two lofts in good condition. Will knock off part of the price if you help take them apart and can assist in moving me out.
Want to buy: one bookshelf, preferably one that goes in a corner; several boxes to pack up my junk.
Notice: I'm moving to 116 Edwards on October 30. (Sorry, Jane m'dear--this means I can't make it to IUP the night before, since I need to be here when my parents come up, but I hope it goes fabulously in many ways, and we'll keep trying to get me out to see you.) It's 122 square feet, including the foyer/closet area, faces the Little courtyard and Dillon, and is actually better lit than this gorgeous piece of Blair.
It's not an ideal situation, but I had my year and a quarter of life in Blair, and, as my mom said when I told her, I'm really getting spoiled by being in this huge, beautiful space all by myself. And it's going to be my space, for real this time, without worries about roommates or having someone placed in the other half of the room later in the year. It's not a trapezoid, it's a rectangle, and hopefully the ceiling doesn't leak when I turn the heater on.
The best part: it's really over once I move. Everything that happened in this room will be behind me. Tabula rasa right at the start of fall break--can't complain about that.
