(no subject)
I'm working desk right now, and some girl just came by eating a shish kabob (actually spelled shikh kabob, because it's Afghan, and whities stole the word/food, but we won't get into that). So yeah, I was superexcited because I love kabob and I hadn't eaten one in so long...I would have been satisfied by a mere waft of the grilled goodness, but instead she pulled out an extra shikh kabob!! just for me! and let me tell you, it was delicious - juicy kabob spiced with cumin and paprika, with grilled onion and sweet red bell pepper - mmmm. thank you kind resident.
Fall is drawing closer and I am glad. The Gap has new cute & comfy fall attire that I will endulge in next weekend. there go 3 paychecks! More than clothes, though, I love the atmosphere...let's give it up for fall!! woo -
Had BIO lab exam today and I kicked its ass. I think I over-studied for it, but nothing's wrong with that.
Lots of "things to do" tonight before heading back up to Cincy this weekend (tomorrow). I have to prepare a presentation for RA class, make signs for a Diversity Program - Same Sex Marriage Forum - that I will be taking my residents to, call Billy's BBQ for the Keeneland tailgate party, and do laundry.

Me and Steev watched Hedwig and the Angry Inch last night, and I must say, it was damn sexxy...with two x's. that's pretty serious. I think they should have a Hedwig hooplah as they do with Rocky Horror, because movie-wise Hedwig is WAY better, and besides - I wouldn't mind seeing some hot guys rocked out in drag.
