Got back from my Albuquerque trip a few days ago. Made a big mistake of forgetting my iPod at home, which left me no other option than finishing the one book that I brought (Fat: the Anthropology of an Obsession) and looking out the window.
For all you home-bound homies, here's list of a few things you never fail to see on a cross-country road trip:

- road kill that varies with the geography...possums in Appalachia, and porcupines in Oklahoma
- Christian signs...JESUS: THE WAY, THE TRUTH, THE LIFE!!
- hitchhikers that look like someone you knew from high school
- Native American Smoke shops
- Stucky's Travel Centers (ie Trucker's Paradise)
- 700 FUCKING miles of construction!!!!!!!...and signs that read "reduced speed ahead, hitting a constructions worker = fine $10,000 and 14 yrs in jail"

Quite an interesting trip, too. I didn't realize how much I missed the Land of Enchantment. While there I hit up a...how do you say...ah yes, show. Saw the Aquabats, the Epoxies, and the Phenamenauts. By far the best show I've been too. Fun stuff, got to meet the bands outside, autographs galore.

I finally might be getting a job, homiez. I'll be working at Cincinnati's own Susan's Natural World. Don't know what I'll be doing yet, but hopefully I won't be selling those horrible diet & vitamin supplements.

Missing friends dearly. Friends, give me a holler. It's bad when my boyfriend talks to you more than I do --- that's you Bobby! i h8 u!

I think I'm gonna be a girl and hit up the Victoria's Secret semi-annual sale. I realized this morning how skanky my bras are, and not in a good way.

I also want to go sky-diving.
