The four of them had always been good at Astronomy. James was good at everything, save Herbology, and he treated the subject like a puzzle or a map, finding stars and naming them. Can you imagine if this would've happened? Oh, how I wish it had! Remus had to have known--in some small way--that Sirius couldn't be guilty. I just wish he would've acted on it. Loved this; awesome idea and beautiful ending.

Oh, I wish it too. Of course, he must have known, but Remus is the sort that would have grown up expecting people to stop being his friends. So it's not surprising that he mightn't have acted on it.
