(no subject)
This is a depressing valentine's day for me, and my birthday is coming up soon, which is always sort of sad, so I just bought myself a trip to Arizona in May. I've wanted to try travelling alone for a while, especially in the Southwest. I don't know if I'll like it or not. I got a cheapish flight, a bed in a hostel dorm in Flagstaff, and a rental car, all in the last hour. I am looking forward to wandering around the desert listening to Valley of the Giants on my iPod (I'm pretty sure that I wrote once about dying in the desert with my iPod on so that my skeleton could become a symbol of modernity.) I am excited to be keeping my #2 new year's resolution to occasionally do something spontaneous.
