Welcome to my journal. Most of you that arrived originally will know know who I am, but please don't mention this to anyone new. I keep my journals separate for a reason.
About this journal.
I see life as frustratingly complex and yet at other times frustratingly simple. So many things can't be summed up in a few words, and yet others, that many people flounder over and worry about, are made far more complex than they need to be. A lot of my entries will consist of political or social comment, and while you are likely to wildly agree or disagree with my views, tending as they do to the extreme, all informed responses are invited and welcomed.
I am not one for what I call the "misery bandwagon". If someone, myself or others, has a problem, then I think it is fine to share it and I will be the first to compassionately help with it. But I have no time for those who make up problems in order to receive false compliments and support from an online community. So while my posts are serious in intent, you won't find any whining or soul searching here.
Its not all going to be serious stuff. Any of you that know me will know I can't resist letting my dreaded sense of humour out now and then. Just wear thick clothes/body armour, is my recommendation! Dry and unforgiving as the Gobi desert, sometimes.
