The RL
So the amazing volunteer coordinator at WTCS was fired unjustly. Immediately, a lot of the volunteer advocates rallied around her. The show of community support for her was truly amazing, and a lot of the problems with the organization and how it's run were brought to light. Like the fact that probably I've linked to the WTCS website more in my LJ than, say, any of the official literature does. (Which is a minor thing, probably, but worth noting.)
I also got to hang out with brettisbretter and LJ-less Lorretta from my knitting class yesterday. That was a lot of fun, although I probably still babble sometimes, a bit too much.
In future news, I'm hoping there will be hanging out with locazuluna and emilemur this afternoon, and if so, that they will be OK with running me by the grocery store at some point. Because it needs to happen.
