Woo-friggin'-hoo!
A rough draft for paper 1 out of 5, which is due Monday, has been completed. Hallelujah, praise the lord! I even completed this assignment after attending a combination Mary Kay and Passion party, hosted by my sister. (Incidentally, the Mary Kay woman was excessively perky, and I really wanted to inflict unnecessary violence upon her, just to see if we could tone down the perkiness. I wonder if they train you at Mary Kay consulting school to be demonically cheerful, or if that lady was just special? Anyway, I bought tinted moisturizer, because I don't wear makeup and I figured that I might look less ridiculous if I wore that on my face every day.
As for the Passion Party? Why, yes, yes, I did buy something there. Then I went to, of all places, Amazon when I got home and bought something else of an extremely naughty nature, simply because I could, and after having slaved away at this stupid paper for the last while, I freaking deserve it.
What I like about my writing ability is that apparently I'm good at being verbose, so I can fill up two pages of a single-spaced MS word document with no problem and then, through the magic of reformatting, I suddenly have a four-page paper. Whether that paper is coherent I have no idea, and at this point, I really, truly do not care. I'm just glad I'm done with it.
This weekend I'm hanging out with the quaker Lesbians and some of their minions. Apparently there's a lot going on, and I'm not all that clear as to exactly what will happen, but I'm definitely looking forward to having fun and not stressing out about school for the duration.
