I read a public domain version of this title.I was expecting it to all be about Jeeves and Wooster, but there was a cluster of stories told from the perspective of Reggie Pepper. Mr. Pepper is a lot like Bertie and a nice enough character but I kept feeling as if my book had been invaded by an interloper. I recognized the plots of the Reggie Pepper stories from the "Jeeves and Wooster" TV series for which they must have been adopted. The short stories were better because there are some differences between Bertie and Mr. Pepper, the most significant difference being Jeeves. There were details that had to be changed for the TV show that made the stories more plausible and enjoyable.

book - my man jeeves, books, author - wodehouse. p. g.
