B&B Related Project

Hi everyone.  this is not an official mod post, but I figured that the project would be of particular interest to people here :)

The Interstitial Arts Foundation has tasked me with putting together a show/auction of jewelry based on the stories in Interfictions: an anthology of interstitial writing.  We're asking the contributors & their friends to participate, and I would like to extend that invitation to everyone in this community.  I've seen the stuff some of you have done and it's gorgeous.  I'm excited to see what you all would do with Interfictions stuff.

We're asking the participants to donate their pieces to the IAF for a fundraiser.  We're promoting this all over the place and the auction will happen during the holiday buying season.  Lots of folks will see your jewelry and have a link to your website and/or portfolio.  Yay exposure.

The Details:

What: Jewelry inspired by stories in Interfictions to be auctioned off.

Why: Because jewelry is pretty and pretty things are awesome.

To participate: send an email to the GMail address ktempestbradford expressing your interest.  Tempest will add you to our project mailing list and someone will remind participants of deadlines.

What we're accepting: any jewelry or jewelry-like objects -- necklaces, earrings, bracelets, rings, pins/brooches, etc.  We'd love to get stuff that people can and will wear.  We love other art inspired by Interfictions, we just can't use it for this particular project.

How many can I submit?: you may submit up to 5 pieces of jewelry or up to 3 matching sets.  However, I may limit the total number of pieces in the show to 22.  It depends on how great a response we get.

Deadlines
-- To express interest: October 31st
-- To email a picture of your finished or near-finished piece(s): November 27th
-- Pieces must be in our hot little hands by Monday, December 3rd.

The auction will happen toward the end of the first week of December.

Any questions?  Ask in the comments. :)
