Slytherin Necklace
My first contribution, and lucky for me, I didn't have to do any reading.
As soon as I saw the unpainted wooden pendant in one of my wholesale catalogs I knew what I had to do with it.
So, pendant painted by me and treated with a Krylon finish (I think I used matte...I forget). Sterling silver bail and though you can't see the closing findings, they are silver-plated hook and eye. The grey and green beads are fiber optic, black ones are plain old glass seed, and the metal ones are wanna be metal beads I guess? :)
Hey, the userinfo for this community says that there may be monthly NYC meetings. While I live north of Syracuse (click on my zip code next to location if you're curious), I make frequent trips downstate since my parents live right by West Point. If the timings right, I might be able to make a meeting once in a while so I was wondering what was going on with that?
