Orphans Tales and Harry Potter
Probably the first time these two different books have ever been mentioned in the same subject line :3
Holy cow, this is the most expensive, complicated necklace I've done in like, ever! Materials: unbleached mother of pearl (the greenish stuff), glass seed beads, sodalite chips (to represent waves), spiney urchins, shell of some type (abalone?), sterling silver, grey pearl.
I really think this is the best thing I've created so far, with one exception (a necklace on my Etsy site). I'm very proud of it!
I cosplay Bella, because I look like her, not because she's necessarily my favorite character. I had a few remnants lying around - including some cheap green pearls I thought I'd never use - so I made myself a necklace to wear to the next HP con.
Materials: green pearl, silver pearl, glass, black onyx, sterling and base metals, mostly because I was out of sterling clasps at the time.
After finding a bunch of Ravenclaw fans who wanted necklaces, I made another one for auction.
Materials used: blue and regular goldstone, glass, sterling.
I'll put this one up for auction on my LJ on Monday or so. Once again, all profits go to The American Association of Suicidology.
