Now call me paranoid (go on. You wouldn't be the first) but there hasn't been an extra holiday declared has there?
I mean I was reading Doctor Who Magazine and Sheep Watching in Costa again today (cheers to Bizzu for giving me the term "Sheep Watching") and I noticed that there were a lot of children in Tescos. Not kids in Year Eleven or Sixth Form who can get away with going out for a bit (hello I was in Costa with a coffee and panini, Pot, Kettle, Black) but primary school aged children.
Now i know there are some perfectly reasonably reasons why including:
1. Their parents decided they needed at fun day or day of extra rest.
2. They had a doctor's or dentist's appointment that day, and their parent called in for them for the whole day, giving them some free time.
3: Their skipping.
But I'm just curious.
Also College decided to get all proactive today about our saftey by putting up a metal detector (for the morning). I mean lets forget the fact that they've put it up once since I started there in September, and they apparently just waved some people through after a cursory glace, I feel so much safer.
NOT.
Oh Orpington. Why are you so brilliant yet made of so much fail?
*facepalm*
