I had a flat tire today. It was very exciting. Or something.
Went out to car. Back left tire looked flat. Went back in and told Mom, who looked. She said it was very flat. So I ended up hanging at work 'til Dad got off and pumped air back in the tire so I could drive the car home. Oh yeah, and there was the whole issue of being unable to remove the hubcap from the car to put on a spare tire . . .
The waiting at work was all right, though. I fixed data in the system, which puts me in the Good Books with the administrative assistant. And then she was looking online, and found a bunch of possibilities for me to apply for a job. So that's a good thing! ^_^
And besides, how many other workplaces can you find the director willing to do ridiculous things, such as singing
anti-consumerism Christmas carols just to see how they sound. Seriously, we got a magazine that had one of them in there, along with a lot of other odd things (there's apparently a Nativity book that has Mary looking exhausted after giving birth, and Gabriel with tattered wings and work boots). So yeah, we have too much fun!!
Now I'm going to ooh and ahh at
Everyday Italian, especially the chocolate espresso brownies that don't seem to be currently on the website . . .
