Advancement
I've been granted advancement within the Scopas Gildscipe (Bards' Guild) of the Geférrǽden Fyrnsidu (GFS) from the grade of Maðelere to that of Scop.
Scopcræft, for me, is an important way of expressing my religion. Not just an expression of belief, but a "doing," and hopefully doing it in a traditional way. I know I've yet got much to learn and to do. At the scop grade, I realise there will be much hard work to be done. I thank our Guildmistress,
siggy_gfs, for having the confidence in my work to grant this advancement. I don't know if it was intentional on the guildmaster's part, but it hasn't gone unnoticed by me that this advancement was granted on Wodensdæg.
