1: Well, you are my sister. There's a certain amount of obligation involved. 2: I'm supposed to choose? I'm going with "Babes In Arms." 3: You have a tattoo that I haven't yet seen. 4: That actually involved you? Mary Poppins in high heels. 5: For some reason I'm thinking about the wife character in "Tartuffe." 6: Perhaps later. 7: N/A
1: You friended me. It would have been rather rude not to. 2: You're my go-to man for Korean cinema, and the only Korean movie I've ever seen is Sympathy for Lady Vengeance. 3: You are the only other able-bodied person my age that I can think of who owns canes. 4: Horns. Devil horns. All the time. 5: Man, I don't know... Colonel Pickering in Pygmalion? 6: Can't think of any burning questions right now. 7: I've always been fond of your Groucho Marx icon.
1: You friended me. Your entries tend to be insightful or provocative. 2: Zulu, maybe. 3: You had the most kick-ass collection of Legos ever. I'm still jealous. 4: You were kind of hyper and squeaky, but still cool. 5: Since the advent of the ponytail/moustache combo, I've been stuck between Marcel Proust and Akira Kurosawa. 6: How's your mom dealing with your departure from the Webster abode? 7: ...
1- Because you're awesome, and lived across the hall from me, and know more about poetry than I do but aren't pretentious about it. 2 - Tough. For some reason, I can't stop thinking John Coltrane's "Village Blues." 3 - Your last name used to be different, and I can never remember what your current one is. It's embarrassing. 4 - Introducing myself to you, and having you exclaim "this is the first time any neighbors have actually come over to introduce themselves since I've been here!" The beginning of a beautiful thing. 5 - I want to say some character from a Brontë novel, but I've never actually read one. Or maybe the tough version of Goldilocks from the Fables comic books, but less murderous. 6 - This is the sort of thing that Livejournal is bad for. But I'll go with this: did Willis and I bug the hell out of you before you got to know us? 7 - N/A. Silly.
I will answer #6 now, and then go finish my silly papers.
Of course not. I must tell you one of my favorite memories from Bard: My mom was helping me move in the day I met you (you all had been there for L&T already) and Willis walked in wearing PJ bottoms and no shirt. She was mighty shocked. Which made me mighty happy! That was pretty much the start of a wonderful thing.
And then! And then you read poetry with me! On a kitchen floor! Can it get any better?
