(no subject)

I'm trying not to let my espresso machine take over my life. But it's hard when I can do things like mix the espresso with some Dagoba hot chocolate. It feels like I've discovered fire.

Boris Vian wrote too much cool stuff for me to choose something quickly for a senior project. My tendency has always been to read six books at once, and now that I have a sort of excuse, it's a little ridiculous. I'm particularly excited about a novel he wrote as Vernon Sullivan, called "Et on tuera tous les affreux" (We'll Kill Everybody Who's Scared). The other Vernon Sullivan novel is "J'irai cracher sur vos tombes" (I'll Spit On Your Graves--no relation to the American film of the same name), which was a bestseller in France, as well as the subject of an obscenity trial where the author was fined one franc for every copy sold. Vian literally died of disgust at the premier of the censored film version.

This should be fun.
