So, I went to Ikea yesterday with Laura. Holy crap, it was HUGE! We had an hour before it was closed and thought that that would be enough time to see mostly everything but we had to run through the store. The second floor was the showroom and the first floor was the warehouse and store. They even had maps and directional signs and a flow through the layout. It was total information overload. One could easily spend a day in there. Now I know why people come from so far away to visit, it felt like going to an amusment park! They even had amusment park-type flags out front. What I thought was the coolest was instead of having trash cans they were recycling containers. I know that the stores in Europe are going to start charging for plastic bags. It makes me happy to see a store, a huge store, take it upon themselves to try to b a little more environmentally conscious. (It still isn't that great, though. :P)

So, I only bought one glass canister for my sugar. I plan to get a nifty floating shelf for over my couch when we move (only 12.99!) and some other shelves that are going to be across my windows formy plants. :D
