What is a tech expo? ;)
Right now I'm not sure how I'm staying awake so if this doesn't turn out, sorry! :)
I just got done working at the Tech Expo. Non-stop chair massages from 1-4:30! Everyone else took several breaks, but I only got a short 5 minute one! how did I get screwed?? Too soft hearted I guess. :) But I think I also made some good contacts, which makes the sore thumbs and lower back worh it.
I think I am going to just bring a massage chair to the shows, since they really didn't cuase any problems in setting up today. Which is good since it will make me look even more proffesional! :)
Speaking of looking proffessional, today I was the only one looking halfway proffessional, which might explain why I had a bigger problem with too many people wanting a massage rather than the other way! I was the first to get started and the last to finish! :)
Oh, I didn't take the other job I was looking at, because the hours didn't hit in my schedual. but I did find out some interesting info on my boss. turns out that if she hears you are working for another hotel in town, you are fired!! I understand that more in a bigger town, but in Minot!!! If the place can't give you all the hours you need, I don't understand why they would fire you if you got another job. oh, well! *sigh*
I can't wait to see everyone!!! only 7 more days!!! Although it probably won't hit me until the day of the show. It seems like this past month has just flown past, but thats ok! ;)
