Been busy with business the past few weeks so not a lot of time to check out my flist or post. I promise I haven't forgotten you. My one brain cell is hard at work going through my list even now... So on to the backbreaking productive day

That's why I do drunken chicken. I used a can of Foster's and endo'd the poor dear to cook. Very very good. Came out nice and tastey. Very juicy.

Plus I did potatoes and corn on the grill.

Was very nice not to have to cook after all that work.

Take care of yourself! The fig jam is an interesting color. I can't wait to taste it! Thanks. This will go well in the fig and ginger dressing for the salmon tomorrow night.

Yeah I know what you mean. Fresh they're this strawberry red color. At least the flesh inside the fig. The skin is sort of a yellow. And when cooked and heated they turn this amber color and the skin turns somewhat brown. But still very tastey. I use it on buttered toast in the mornings. Its also fabulous on peanut butter sandwiches.

Have also served it over ice cream and its pretty good too.
