just a quick update
I am happy to say my first two shows of 2009 were a success! Fridays show at the Catalyst was good and all three bands performed well. Plus I got to see Kung Fu Vampire and Lucky Lucianni perform at the Blue Lagoon. Then there was an after party bonfire on the beach which I enjoyed. This beautiful January weather made that possible without freezing to death. Saturdays show was really great. I had first-time performers Da Bloons open the show and they were fantastic! So were Happily Never After and Letters Make Words. Looks like 2009 is starting off well and I'm happy about that.
My awesome roommate is moving out in mid-to-late May, so I'm a bit bummed about that. Chad has been really wonderful and I enjoyed having him this past year. He's been fun to hang out, keeps the place clean, pays rent on town, on gone many weekends. I will be sad to lose him but I wish him the best in his endeavors as a Navy Seal. If you guys know of anyone needing a place to live in May/June, please let me know. I'm looking for an easy-going roommate who likes cats that has steady job, will pay rent on time, and respect my house. They get their own room, bathroom, and parking space in my garage. It's a townhouse on West San Jose/Campbell border.
I'm also selling my 10 ft Surftech Softops Surfboard, so if any of you know any surfers that want a longboard. It's brand new, never been used, and I'm asking $500 for it.
Other than that life is quiet and uneventful. I had a date with a man of substance and I'm hoping more dates are in the future. I really like this guy and find him fascinating. There's also a lot of good movies coming out, such as Watchmen, Push, He's Just Not That Into You, and Underword: Rise of the Lycans. If anyone is up for going to movies, let me know!
