Today is a Friday and the first week of the new term.  I'm supposed to have a laboratory class at 12 noon but my professor did not arrived.  Good thinking on the classmates part to text our professor.  I mean, no one informed us that he will not be coming so we ended up waiting for an hour.  Well, at least we also don't have class tomorrow in our 430 pm to 9 pm class according  to him.  I'm still thinking if I will pass the message to my other classmates or not. *insert evil laugh*

Earlier, while waiting for our professor who did not arrive, me, Martin and Mar discussed our future plans.  Wow, we're already planning our futures.  We were telling each other our plans after graduation.  As for me, I've already though of a few options.  Wanna know my options?
Option A:  graduate by either December 2010 or March 2011, work in Emerson (hopefully), apply for
Japanese Embassy Master's Degree Scholarship in November 2011, go to Japan to study
Option B; graduate by either December 2010 or March 2011, enroll Master's Degree in UP Diliman while teaching in Mapua, apply for Japanese Embassy Master's Degree Scholarship in Novermber 2011, go to Japan to study
Option C: graduate by either December 2010 or March 2011, enroll Master's Degree in UP Diliman while working in Emerson or Mapua and stay in the Philippines

Japan isn't the only country I want to study but it's my first choice.  I've seen at least 5 universities there that offers the field I want to pursue which is Biomaterials or Biomedical Engineering.

It seems that Mar wants to do everything with me.  He kept telling me to tell him all the scholarships I'm applying after we graduate.  He even wants to learn Japanese with me.  There's this audio cd that he saw and he wants US to buy it together, I mean share the price.  Oh and when I told him that I wanted to study Biomaterials, he said "I guess biomaterials is fine too". Seriously, are your decisions based on me?!??! Please try to think on your own.  You're still young.  You're a smart guy and I'm sure deep down in your heart, there's something that you really wanted to do.

Yesterday, I had the same discussion but with different classmates and that discussion really annoyed and irritated me.  Again, while waiting for our professor we talked about future plans. I was with Ruell and Carlo.  Have I told you that I have some not so nice story about Carlo? I'll tell it later.  I said the exact same thing that I told Mar and Martin but the conversation ended pretty bad, for me at least.  They kept laughing and throwing not so nice side comments about my plans.  I wasn't really hurt but I was annoyed. Can't you just listen to what I have to say.  If you can't say anything nice, just shut up.  As if you're better than me! At least, I have a clear view of what I want to do in the near future.  How can two discussions with the same topic end so differently? I guess it's still up to the level of intelligence of the person you're talking to. Hmpf!

Let me tell you about this guy called Carlo.  I've known him for a year now.  We're under the same program so of course we're classmates and it looks like I'll be stuck with him until graduation.  We took Analytical Chemistry laboratory class together and although we're not partners, we chatted a lot since there's only 6 of us in class.  I guess we were fine with each other until I discovered his attitude.  That same term, he's also taking the subject Fundamentals of Materials Science and Engineering under Sir Danilo Rulloda.  I also had the same subject the previous year under the same professor. Then he was boasting that he's 100% sure that he'll pass that subject even without studying because his father is a former student of Sir Rulloda and if he ever fails exams, he'll just have his father talk to Sir.  I was like "Huh?!WHAT?!Are you serious?" and this is coming from someone who's father is also a former student of Sir Rulloda.  I worked really hard for that subject because I do not want to embarrass my father.  I want both of them to be proud of me.  And he's going to do the exact same opposite of what I did.  Don't you have brains of your own?! Did you lost your ability to think to your muscles?!  At least, my hard work paid off.  I got a 1.75 in that subject.  It ended with Sir Rulloda telling my dad that I was waaaaayyyyyyy better student than he was.  My dad did not even got the high scores that I got. The news was even spread to my dad's office mates.  Most of them were from Mapua and former students of Sir Rulloda.  I was so proud of myself. You think this rant is over? You're wrong.  Just yesterday, while we were talking about scholaships, he striked again.  He said that he has a relative in DOST so he's 100% sure that he'll get a scholarship there.  Again, I was like "Huh?! WHAT?! Are you serious?!".  I mean, haven't you ever thought of working hard to get what you want?  Aren't you ashamed of yourself? You're gonna live your whole life through connections? Oh please... I really don't like (I'm not gonna use the word hate coz it's too strong) people like him, using connections and stuff.  Another thing about him is he never ever works.  I'm not asking him to work hard but at least work especially DO YOUR HOME WORK! In all the subjects that we took together, I've never ever seen him do stuff on his own. He always always always copies other people's home work.  Not only home works, but even seat works and take home quizzes.  He comes to school all smiles, LATE and then tells you "Let me copy your home work., it's already time".  You already know that you don't have home work so at least  COME TO SCHOOL EARLY!!! We're not gonna wait for you!  So Mar and I (the only one who does their home work) have laid out a copying principle:  If you at least try to do it on your own, then we'll let you copy.  If you did nothing, as in nothing at all, then SORRY!  That should teach you a lesson.  This person is like the personification of all the qualities of a person that I don't like.  Is that even possible?

Conclusion:  I have crossed him out in my list of possible thesis partners. You're just OUT!

After 10 months of being a happy little bunny, Pikachu passed away last January 16.  It was so sudden.  I checked her around 8 pm and she was eating.  After dinner, I checked her again around 8:45 pm and she was not moving anymore.  We brought her to the animal hospital and they put her in oxygen.  The doctor said she was too weak already and probably had indigestion.  They cannot test her because it will give her more stress.  We left her in the hospital around 9:30 pm.  She died at 10:30 pm.  Of course, I cried when she died.  I really loved her although she's a liitle hard headed.  Now, Shiro is all alone and I'm showering him all the attention and love I can give him so that he won't end up like Pikachu.  I'm still thinking if I should buy a second Pikachu? What do you think?

This is my first ever long rant and I feel refreshed after writing everything.  I should do this more often.
Tomorrow, I have 7:30 am class so I better go to sleep.  Oyasuminasai ^_^
