I agree. I have an MA in English and French literature and loved every bit of it. Reading is so much a part of me that I can't imagine a world without books.

Sometimes it really does seem like nobody reads anymore. I don't understand. Books are some of the most important things in my life. I couldn't survive without them.

I plan my whole future around books. I want to read every book and write a good one someday. You're right, there aren't too many readers out there. It's depressing.

yeah its ridiculous, but it makes me mad that im doing a degree that people view as not very interesting or credible career wise

I do and I know it is. I am the living proof!! Barbs stay in there and there is SO much you can do when you finish university.
