Coincidences.
My dad's in the hospital. He's been sick for about a month.. first with some stomach thing, then he developed a bad cough, and his back has been aching pretty bad. He's also lost a considerable amount of weight. My aunt told him he should see a doctor, but of course, my dad said no. He hates the doctor. He's never been as far as I can remember. He said it was just a bug and that he would get over it.. but as soon as he felt better in one way, he would feel bad in another way. My aunt finally convinced my granddad to tell my dad to go to the doctor because my dad won't listen to my aunt. He went to the doc, and they sent him to the hospital. His blood pressure is apparently through the roof, like, he could literally have a stroke any second. He just called me when I got back from work and said that he's being sent to ICU :\ I want to know what the hell is wrong with him. I'm freaked out a little that he's going to be in the hospital longer than I first thought. And that he'll be in intensive care. My dad is so fucking stubborn about everything.. I feel like if he had just sucked it up and gone to the doctor a long time ago, then maybe he wouldn't be in this situation.
And another thing. I know this will sound batshit crazy, or maybe not that crazy, but it seems like ever since my grandmother passed away, everybody has had something wrong with them. The night she died I had a stomach virus, food poisoning, I dunno what, and that lasted a few days. My granddad also got some crazy virus and he ended up in the hospital for dehydration after a couple of weeks. My dog Abby went from being a normal, crazy, running around dog to being practically an invalid. She won't move because it causes her so much pain to walk on her back legs. Her arthritis, or I dunno what, came on in a matter of days. It freaks me out how quickly she got that way. And now my dad is in the hospital. I hope nothing bad happens. For crying out loud.
