So we lost the Apple Cup. What kind of crap is that? I couldn't get tickets so I watched it on TV with Emma and it was such complete crap that we lost. We lost by four in the last 90 seconds. I realize that most do not care, but still!!! Two of the suckiest teams in the Pac-10 and we still lost. Grrr. We suck.
So Thursday so much went on. Seriously. It was crazy. I woke up at 5:30 am to register for classes and it took me until 7:30 to get a schedule, and it still wasn't the one I wanted but i had to get ready for class. Then I went to English where I had a six page paper that was due. It is honestly one of the worst papers I have ever written but my peer reviews weren't too hard on me since everyone wrote really bad papers since we were all so stressed. OH yea, and on this day, I developed an eye twitch from all the stress! Geez. It was going crazy. So then I went to my Math midterm and I felt really confident and all the problems I thought would be on there were and unless I made really dumb mistakes (like 9 + 4 = 15 or 11, or switching numbers like 21 and 12 or 456 and 546, which happens) which probably happened, then I think I would have done really well. So thats good. Then I went to Zaks for OC Thursday and I had a really good time even though the OC isn't as good as it was last season. But Reunion was pretty good.
Oh and then I tried to fix my schedule and I ended up getting the one I wanted. So thats good. It was pretty random because the class was full that morning but when I tried it later there was one spot open and I got it! Thank goodness, cuz I had a really dumb class before. Yea, so I have Math 124 (Calculus), Econ 200 (Intro into Microeconomics), and History 209 (The History of Christianity). I think I'm really going to like next quarter. I have the last of my pre-req's to do freshman application to business school mixed with an actual fun class. Nice!
Friday I had a Chemistry test, but I found out some really good news. So I originally got an 80% on my Chem midterm, which I was mad about since I got a 90% on the first one, I felt equally prepared for both, and the class average only went down by five. Well when my teacher made the answer key, he did his calculations wrong and I actually got an 85%, which is pretty cool. That's pretty bad when the professor can't even get the answers right on his own test though. So anyway that night I reconnected with Suzanne, which was pretty cool. We went out to Indian food and to the Pep rally for the WSU and it was pretty fun. Then we had ANOTHER FIRE ALARM IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT!!! It was the first in a long time though.
Saturday was such a long and dramatic night that I just don't even want to recall haha.
Sunday I went to see Harry Potter at the IMAX with Zak. He picked me up and took me out to dinner at the Cheesecake Factory, it was really nice and that restaurant is so pretty inside. I felt pretty fancy. Then we went to the movie and it was pretty good. Pretty different from the book, but it was still good. A little rushed, but overall good. I think I will need to see it a couple more times to be able to fully appreciate it, y'know?
So the only truly exciting things to happen thus far this week is that I got 49 out of 50 on the math midterm. I just made the smallest dumbest mistake ever. That's a 3.92 and that brings my test average up to a 3.7, without the curve. I'd be so freaking happy with a 3.7! I kind of want above that though, so lets hope I can pull out a 3.9 or similiar on the final! Hee hee, we'll seee.
Ok so now I'm going to make my bed, run to Gasworks with Andrea, come back and shower and then GO HOME!!!! Yay! I'm so excited.
If anyone is doing anything fun this weekend, let me know ok...
