aaaaaaaaand i'm back
ok weekend. great fun to be had by all. not really, but oh well. halloween was alright... i was afraid i was going to be stuck in my apartment for my first halloween in nyc. luckly my roommate came to the rescue and gave me something to dress up for. got a little tipsy. nothing to write home about, but enough to help me get to sleep easily.
interesting costumes i saw worth noting:
+ Satre, complete with horns, long brown coat, hooves, and furry pants. apparently it was just "thrown together at the last minute". ...the guy was gay, so i believe it. still, VERY impressive.
+ 1930's beach-goer (male). complete with towel, one piece bathing suit, and overly-noticable boner.... altogether not too special of an outfit, but the boner was really what (forgive the pun) stuck out about the whole ensemble.
+ Man-in-suit seemingly caught in a wind storm. accompanied by tie and jacket in permanent "caught in the wind" position, leaves stuck to his face, plastic bag around his foot, and plastic soda can rings pinned to the jacket. very creative.
...and by far what "took the cake", so to speak....
+ American soldier w/ Iraqi prisoner. soldier complete with gun and uniform... prisoner complete with bag-over-head, one piece military jump suit, handcuffs, and floppy dildo hanging out of his pants (whom also entered on his knees). pure genius.
if only i'd brought my camera!
