(no subject)
So! The Grand Rapids Chipotle finally opened today. I was more than prepared and was in the car with my parents in tow an hour before it opened....we were the only ones there for the first half an hour but that's not the point.
We watch the owner walk out to get some stuff from his car and he puts a menu in the door so it doesn't lock. Then some dude pulls up and tries the first door, doesn't open. Looks at the sign that says it opens at 11 (it's 10:30) and then tries the other door. It opens the paper falls and he walks in. Then the owner comes back and is locked out. 15 mins later, dude walks out with a burrito! I was pretty pissed I wanted to be their first customer. So when they did open (there was a line I'm not crazy) I was the first person and got the first REAL one. When the owner came over to chat I told him how pissed I was and he said we could have called and he would have let us in. Instead I decided I would be more than happy to be the second customer and the first one to complain. We got 3 free burrito coupons, haha.
I am serious about my Chipotle. If you don't remember I have driven 3 hours to Chicago for one AND made Danny bring a cooler with 2 inside on a plane from Denver to Grand Rapids.
