But i am finding, after just having completed reading Chamber of Secrets, that this one holds a lot of water.... This one pertains to Ginny....
Okay here are direct quotes from the Chamber that lead me to believe that Ginny is a Horcrux.....
Page 310: Tom Riddle: “…Ginny poured out her soul to me, and her soul happened to be exactly what I wanted… I grew stronger and stronger on a diet of her deepest fears, her darkest secrets. I grew powerful, far more powerful than little Miss Weasley. Powerful enough to start feeing Miss Weasley a few of my secrets, to start pouring a little of my soul back into her…”
Who is to say that Tom didn't plan to leave the power in his diary when he was 16 to create a Horcrux? We know that he learned the basics of Horcrux creation while he was at Hogwarts, from Professor Slughorn. It would have been a very clever way to create an extra Horcrux should he have needed it.... And we also know that the diary ended up in Lucius Malfoy's possession, which means that Tom/Voldemort took the diary with him and left it with one of his trusted Death Eaters, should it be needed.
Page 323: Ginny: “Harry - oh, Harry - I tried to tell you at b-breakfast, but I c-couldn’t say it in front of Percy - it was me, Harry - but I - I s-swear I d-didn’t mean to - R-Riddle made me, he t-took me over…”
So he took her over, she was unaware of killing roosters, daubing menacing messages on the wall, setting the Basilisk on Mudbloods and Filch's cat, what else could have happened while she was "unaware"....
Page 329: Mr. Weasley: “…Enchant Ginny? But Ginny’s not… Ginny hasn’t been… has she?” Ginny was standing in the room with Harry, so he wasn't asking if she had been killed, so how about this: To finish his sentence, in my NTBH opinion anyway: “become one of Voldemort's Horcruxes?” This would create a very interesting and heart wrenching decision for Harry in book 7. To kill the one he loves in order to rid the world of the most evil wizard to have ever lived..... Just one more extremely difficult task for Harry to undertake...
Thoughts? Opinions? Has this been discussed to death? If so, i haven't read it here, i been awfully busy to read every single post so forgive me in advance....
