So I bought the Angel magazine featuring buffy last night and found out that the woman who played halfrek is the same one who played the woman who told spike before he was a vampire that he was beneath her. Oh yeah, that was her. She was the woman from Fool for Love that dissed Spike big time. Her name was Celeste then (I think) and William was in love with her. She ultimately became a vengence demon with the name Halfrek. All vengence demons get different names. Anya to Dohoffran is actually Anyanka but orginally when he found her 1200 years ago she was Aud. He named her Anyanka. So Halfrek's IS the same character as Celeste. In Season 6 Buffy at Buffy's birthday party Dawn unknowingly wishes she could have more company and she wishes this to Halfrek posing as the high school guidance counselor. Halfrek grants Dawn's wish forcing all the people in the house to stay there and it is impossible for them to leave. In the end they realize it's Halfrek and Spike realizes it's her as well....but Celeste to him.

Her dissing Spike back in the day is really what set him on a path of saying "fuck this". Although Spike is a vamp and was a ruthless one, he was never as evil as a lot of others and was always a romantic softy. That's why he's always about the women and such; he always wanted to be loved and have love. Can you say "Kell, you know too much about this stuff"!!! ;)

I watch them over and over again and I study them and I usually catch all the shit but I missed that one. I mean I caught when faith was talking about little miss muffet she was referring to dawn.
