still in harry potter mode!
i finally got around to posting my pygmy puff earrings on etsy yesterday (check 'em out here. if any of y'all want a pair, let me know and i'll set up a coupon thing for you.)
since i've been up since 6:30 this morning (lord only knows why), i've been looking for places to post about them. i couldn't find any hp craft comms or pan-fandom craft comms at all. a few doctor who comms came up, but (a) these aren't doctor who, and (b) the ones i looked at don't let you post things for sale. lj's search feature is still a pile of shit, is the thing. if any of you know appropriate comm(s) for me to post these in, i'd appreciate a nudge in the right direction!
while i'm asking for harry potter comms, last week while discussing HBP we thought of a fic that several people have told me they want to read but that none of us particularly want to write. since it's harry potter fandom, i'm confident the fic exists, i'm just less confident about it still being online or findable though. what i want is dark!fic, in which remus coerces tonks (blackmail, emotional blackmail, threats, curses, DON'T CARE) into morphing into sirius and having sex with him, and the stress from this is what makes her lose her powers. maybe she spends so much time as sirius that her patronus changes, maybe she spends so much time moping at the weasleys so remus can't abuse her, maybe remus is secretly a death eater... in other words, there is no way this fic can be too dark. (i used to read a fair amount of dark!remus, and while it's not my personal canon, it is something i enjoy the shit out of.)
so if you know a fic like this, or know someone who may have written a fic like this, or know a good hp fic finder comm, or have an archive suggestion for me to search, LET ME KNOW! (i checked AO3, dark arts, and schnoogle, which means i read a lot of remus/tonks bad!fic last week. i've never used any kind of archive for hp fic though, so i don't even know if those are the right places to be searching.)
(and for the record, i have nothing against remus/tonks. i think it was handled pretty poorly in the books, but i've read plenty of fic with them together and i'm down with it. at the end of the day, she made remus happy and that was better than remus being sad. i just like angsty fic.)
